Maison
LAPARADE
The spacious house can accommodate 12 people. The house has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a very spacious room with a double bed and a bedroom with a double bed and its own washbasin. There is an extra separate bathroom on the first floor and there is also an additional bathroom on the ground floor.

Space and tranquility
Everyone will find their place in this house. The walled garden creates a peaceful spot in the middle of an authentic French village.
Free WIFI
In the French countryside, a good internet signal cannot be taken for granted. We brought in the best available technology and there is good Wi-Fi amplification everywhere. You can watch your favorite TV programs via the Google chromecast and Google TV.
Sport and game
With a basketball court at the door and a playground around the corner, you don't have to walk far. There is also a ping-pong table on the square in front of our house and 100m away is the petanque court and some fitness equipment. You can play tennis in nearby Castelmoron.
Garden
Our lovely covered terrace offers a wonderful spot in the morning sun and protects against the heat in the afternoon. From here you have a view of the courtyard garden with swimming pool.
Weekly cleaning
Fresh sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels and final cleaning are included in the price. We provide a small refresher at the end of the week for longer stays.
Panorama

Laparade is known for the most beautiful view over the Lot valley. From the square in front of the house you have a phenomenal view of the surroundings. Some days you can even see the peaks of the Pyrenees!
Swimming pool
The swimming pool (5mx5m) is sheltered within the walled garden. Out of season it can be heated.
Country kitchen
​
Equipped with a large Smeg cooker and quality kitchenware, cooking in this old French kitchen is a pleasure. You can find the tasty ingredients at the markets in the area and the herbs in our own garden or in the wild.
Charm and character
​
According to the raconteuse de pays, this house was built in the 14th or 15th century. The authentic elements have been preserved as much as possible. The house was built in French "pierre blanche" and has been restored and furnished with great care over 10 years.
ABOUT US
We bought a house in France! Thought about it for a long time and visited many houses until we finally came across this gem by chance during an exploration in this peacefull village.

In the Lot-et-Garonne you will find many "bastides", medieval villages with beautiful village centers.
Les marches gourmands
During the summerholiday, you can enjoy local delicacies at the weekly marchés gourmands in Laparade, just in front of the house. Bring a tablecloth and cutlery and enjoy the atmosphere.
Weekly markets
On Wednesday morning there is a small fruit and vegetable market in Laparade . On the other days of the week there are several lively markets in the villages in the area. During the summer months, many interesting flea markets are organized.
Golf
There are several beautiful golf courses nearby. Golf Barthe in Tombeboeuf is a 15 min drive.
Water fun on the Lot
In Castelmoron (5 km) and Clairac (7 km) there are sandy beaches on the banks of the Lot during the summer months with a supervised swimming area. You can also rent boats on the Lot.
